From the Toledo Blade: JoAnn (Skinta)Thomas, age 52,of South Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 14, 2005, in her home. JoAnn was a 1970 graduate of Start High School. She worked as an intake specialist working for a psychologist for the last several years. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 12 years, Jack R. Thomas; stepchildren, Jessica and Jeremy (Christina); grandson Jack; sisters Marcia (Mike) Gouitiere of Hewitt, TX and Patty (Steve) Ortiz of Milwaukie, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marcella Skinta. Memorial services will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. on Monday, Jan 24th at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions in JoAnn's name may be made to Breast Cancer research or to the Toledo Humane Society.
