Mr. Evans was my favorite teacher.  I had him for American History in my junior year at SHS.  I wrote his epithath as an English project for Mr. St John's class.  The copy of the paper was given to Mr. Evans, who read it to all of his classes.  I thought I would have been in BIG trouble.  He was great.   He teased many students, sat on the desk in front of the middle row.  He really made history interesting, and was an inspiration to check out historical places as an adult.  I guess this is truly the "End of Evans".  May he rest in peace.
