TOLEDO – Joan Merrill Clement, age 66 of Toledo, formerly of Springfield, OH, passed away July 10, 2018.
She was born June 5, 1952, at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Richard and Martha Clement. Joan was a graduate of Roy C. Start High School in Toledo and Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
She worked at the Hillcrest Hotel, Shawnee Tool, Morgal Machine and Assurant of Springfield, OH. Joan was a member of various civic and professional organizations.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Rick Krumlauf. Joan was a wonderful sister to Mary Pat “Pixie” Krumlauf and aunt to JR and Kristi Krumlauf. She brought much joy with her great personality to all her family and friends. She spent many Saturdays in Ann Arbor with her family cheering on her beloved Wolverines. Go Blue!
There will be a gathering of family and friends Friday, July 13, 2018, from noon – 2 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield, and another gathering Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Springfield, OH.
